We were on our way from a weekend in Kentucky to visit some relatives in Columbus and we had some extra time and so decided to meander our way north.

We approached from the south on Ohio 335 and found a place to pull off facing the Logo end of the Barn.
There weren’t any signs saying to stay away but there also weren’t any welcoming signs, either. But there is certainly a lot of poison ivy crowning the northern edge of the roofline.
So we got a few pictures and decided to move around the corner to the north on Ohio 139.
This is where we saw the No Trespassing signs, so we didn’t venture too far, but we did see a sign on this north side:
The Grand View Farm Barn
Neither of my two reference books mention this name, so I’m not certain of its importance. The Internet doesn’t seem to know, either.
Currently owned by the Minford Board of Education, it has fallen into disrepair. If you want to visit all the Barns in Ohio, visit this one soon—I don’t think it will stay stable much longer.
This was Scott Hagan’s 87th Barn to be painted.
Where to view: 8844 Ohio Route 335, in Minford (38.85974° N, 82.85829° W)
Where to visit: 10926 Ohio Route 139 (38.86000° N, 82.85733° W)
This Barn is on the south east corner of Ohio 335 and Ohio 139, and there are good places to pull off on both Ohio 335 and Ohio 139. The Logo is visible from Ohio 335. It’s probably trespassing, but it’s a convenient place to park for a short visit. Don’t block the exit and you’ll likely be fine.
