The Sandusky County Barn has both the distinction of being the last (88th) Barn painted as well as being the only barn to have the Logo painted on the roof.

When I first drove by this area in July, I didn’t know that I was looking for a roof painting and so I thought the Barn had been taken down.
After reviewing Wilkinson,1 I discovered that it was the northern roof that had been painted and I was looking at it from the wrong angle.
In either event, it didn’t matter since the roof had been replaced some years ago and the Bicentennial Logo was no longer there.
Both the top image (July) and this image to the side (September) mimic the photos that Wilkinson included in her book. Much has grown up around the Barn in the subsequent 20 years.
